Philosophy

Orefield Athletic Association ("OAA") is a local youth baseball and softball association that is dedicated exclusively to the development players between the ages of 5 and 18 in the Parkland Baseball/Softball League and the Upper/Lower Macungie Baseball League.

Orefield Athletic Association provides baseball and softball instruction and teaches skills development that is appropriate for each age group. Orefield Athletic Association believes that a foundation in basic and advanced skills is the key to success in team competition. We want our teams to be competitive but not at the expense of good sportsmanship. Accordingly, the Orefield Athletic Association balances instruction with competition and guides our players toward good sportsmanship at all age levels. We believe that every player should receive the same amount of attention regardless of their skill level.

Orefield Athletic Association has a long tradition of more than twenty years of excellent youth baseball instruction and development. Many of our players eventually go on to play Lehigh Valley Junior Legion, Legion, Connie Mack baseball, and high school baseball and softball.
